The United Nations calls for an immediate humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights appealed to leaders to make courageous choices, stressing in a statement published by “Sky News” that the first step must be an immediate humanitarian truce that saves the lives of civilians through the rapid and effective delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Egyptian efforts succeeded in introducing medical and humanitarian aid trucks into the Gaza Strip, based on the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Egypt succeeded in its effort to open the Rafah land crossing to bring aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to brutal aggression by the occupation forces that have been bombing the Strip since October 7.
Thousands of Palestinian people were martyred as a result of the aggression, and tens of thousands were injured, while the occupation forces cut off water, electricity, and fuel from the Palestinian people. In addition, the occupation committed war crimes by bombing hospitals, annihilating entire civilian neighborhoods, and bombing inhabited buildings in the Gaza Strip.
